well im looking to replace a head gasket on my sisters car. its a 96 2.4L and i need help.i have all the necessary tools and whatnot,, but don't know how to time and whatnot. im in pendleton indiana this would be happening in 2 weeks aug 31st and am willing to pay for your services thanks alot

timing the 2.4 is not to complicated. i would probally pick up a hanes manual. i know most people dislike them but its got me by pretty well with the 2.4. also make sure you release the tensioner and rotate the engine twice to make sure it is in time and is back to tdc and on the intake stroke. its not to hard to do and bet someone lend a hand. gl.
the 31st is my bday...... soooooooooo if i'm there workin on a car, i better have ur sister doing some work on me

wow this is awesome everytime I make a post someone talks about her haha yes it's her car chris yes i'll be home for the meet and I thought I fixed the leak by replacing the lower radiator hose but that didn't fix it. One if 2 leaks I guess. I do have a haynes manual j.l. I'm just trying to find someone with experiqnce that can lend a hand instead of me just tearing into it thanks all
