David and I are going to be taking some pic's around downtown Sunday night together, and wanted to know if there is any hidden places that someone might want to give out for some great photos. I'm going to try to maybe do some HDR photos that I've been reading about online for some sweet shots. I will have the tripod and the girl's XT Rebel for some good shots. So if you have seen some good stuff that we can move the cars around without being bothered let us know asap.

Columbus state parking garage
Easton parking garage
COSI
Columbus School of arts
Adding. The OhioState Football Stadium as well.

We can make a whole shoot of those places there alone.

I think that we will be able to get what we need with those. I think I might toss the Toyota Tails on the car to bring out some color and to match yours a little more. I get off about 6 on Sunday, and we should have almost 3 hours of light, and 30-45 mins of low light that I can make work.

That could definitely be sweet. Of the places listed I've seen a few and that could make for some good shots.
Maybe even Crew Stadium?

Thats an idea huh... We are going to need some extra time just to get to those places while it is light out.

I found some decent places out east, like in the jewish ghetto. I found some round-a-bouts that you can get some cool shots around with huge houses in the background. As long as you dont mind stopping in the middle of the road, lol.

might want to try across from cosi. i think its nationwide stadium, arena. can't remember. also be nice fi you could get one on the bridge in that area. also might be some stuff in german village. link to google search of downtown columbus attractions.

I took some outside of ohio stadium and they turned out really good..

arena district has some nice spots, but its a lil busy to take pictures most of the time

was talking to a photographer last week and he said at this time of year dont bother shotting till proabby 7 or when the sun gets down low enough. we shot some pics of my car and we started around 8 am and by 10 the suns allready to high to bother shooting anymore.

Well we started at around 7, but due to some problems we didn't start back till about 8:30. We didn't stop till about 10:20 at night. Since the camera was a dig SLR I got to adjust for the lighting no matter how dark it was out side since I had the tripod.

Omg, well ever since we did the turbo kit we only strapped the exhaust on the downpipe using the exhaust SS strap that has the two bolts and acts like a clamp.. Well it finally decided to give way and not want to stay strapped to the downpipe anymore.. So we finally decided to unhook the center section lastnight lol.. Leaving only the downpipe, and the rear muffler section attached to the car haha.. Driving with open downpipe FTL when your downtown Columbus haha.

so when do we see said 200 pics?

Well I'm going to be doing some work on them to make them into about 75 good pics. I'm going to use them to make HDR photos that will have a greater amount of detail then any other pics on this site. Due to the size of each one of the photos it is going to take some time to edit them. The photos I took in the manual settings are 7-8meg in size. The few auto shots I did at the start of the day are only 1.7-2.5megs in size to give you an idea on why I can't do this on my laptop at work. Cause I need to have 4-6 photos open at one time to do the HDR photo. So I should be done Thursday or Friday (my days off) depending on how long it takes me to get the photos done the right way.

cant wait to see them. and i bet that exhaust is annnoyyyinnnnngggg lol
