Give me a few mins. and ill get pics up
i am curious to see pics of the hinges (in action) and the caddy tails (do these fit in a cavy?)...
I am interested in the 97 headlight harness possibly...
what exactly does the lesabre hinge reverse? like where the hood hinges at the radiator and swings up like a vette? that would be sweet.
pic of hinges

when modded and fitted

caddy tails will not just fit they require a lot of body work, I was gonna put them in my ram but changed my mind
the hinges will have to have the long bar in the center cut out to be shipped, but I had to cut it out to use them any way.
damn, that is a sweet hood setup...
how much modification does it take?
looks like it comes pretty close to smacking the ground... that could be bad...
how many do you have for sale? and if they are already sold can you tell us what year car they are off of and what all needs modded to make them work?
I will take a set for $25 if you still got any.
it take a good bit of mods to fit but it is not to hard if you have some mechanical ability and are not afraid to cut things up.
Also the rear of the hood is no longer attached so you can grab it and just lift it up about a foot or so, but i have never had a problem with it coming loose, but at highway speed it will kinda shake at the rear , never bothered me.
couldnt you just use hood pins in the rear to solve that problem?
now are we talking lots of mods to the hinges? or to the car? or to the hood? or all of the above?
this is almost off the front page, so its going up so you can sell your hinges and other things
you have to cut a good bit off of the hinges and be willing to either weld of cut an access hole on the side of your hood (if you look at the last pic beside the hinge you can see a small hole i cut) to use a fender washer, bolt and nut. Sorry for not responding sooner but I have been working 12 hour graveyard shift for the last 3 days.
