FS: 2000 Supercharged Cavalier Z-24

Yep. The Cavy is officially for sale.

Mileage: Hitting 90,000 miles this week

The Good:

The engine runs like a top. I'm so much more satisfied with how the car runs now versus when the engine was turbocharged. First gear is insanely torquey again and the car pulls hard throughout all the gears.

Clutch was recently replaced with a stock clutch that has 44,000 miles on it and is gripping great.

The exhaust is quiet so you can hear the supercharger really well and your neighbors won't be pissed off.

The Bad:

Windshield is cracked. Claim it on your insurance after a couple weeks of owning it and I'll pay the deductible. State Farm doesn't have windshield insurance anymore. Otherwise, I would of fixed it on my own.

The paint isn't perfect. On the right fender, there's a tiny bit of cancer that can be sanded off and repainted pretty easily. The right quarter has a nice 3" long key gash that was on the car when I first purchased it back in July of 2004. Multiple other paint imperfections around the car which is normal given the age.

The Ugly:

The car needs a new hood. Over the summer last year, I had a slight oops with the car in the garage. I accidentally pulled forward a little too far with the hood up and buckled it on some stuff hanging overhead. The hood closes no problem and actually looks pretty good over 95% of the surface. The problem is near the passenger side bracket. The paint chipped off when it buckled. If you're planning on getting a different hood to begin with, this really isn't a problem for you. I have Drew's old hood sitting on the side of my garage that's in perfect physical shape, but doesn't have the best paint. If you're not looking to get a new hood, you can have this one to repaint.

Here's the list of mods that are currently in place:

Sorry. It's more incentive for someone to purchase the car.

A couple of things I forgot about. The car also includes the stock drums for the rear, stock exhaust manifold, stock airbox and intake manifold, a couple stock throttle bodies, and whatever else I can dig up.

Two more aftermarket mods that come with the car that I just remembered as well. I have a set of the discontinued RKSport Grille inserts for the front bumper that can be seen in this photo:

I also just bought a scosche GM tone adapter for the radio. This puts a little speaker under the dash that brings back the door chimes that you lose when installing an aftermarket stereo.

BTW: The car still looks the same as that picture. You can actually see the key mark in that picture below and to the left of the J-BOM logo.

Bah. Sorry for the extra post. I don't have a premium account anymore so I can't edit posts. The RKSport grilles are NOT installed in the front bumper. The front bumper on the car is actually a 2002 front bumper minus the LS sport lip (but the holes are there for it). The fog light holes have the stock fogs in them and they're untouched. To install the RKSport grilles, you need to chop up the fog holes and the big center section of the bumper.

Another addition to the deal. I will add Cadwz24's D-Specs and Sportlines to the car for an additional $400 (I will pay for the rest of his cost).

Let's try this from a different angle. How about a la carte????

Base Z-24 price: $3000
GM Supercharger + Pulley Boys Qwikchange 2.6" Pulley - $1000
RSM 62mm Throttle Body - $150
OBX Stainless Steel Header + Flowmaster Hushpower II Resonator + Catco 2.5" High Flow Catalytic Converter + Stainless Steel T304 2.5" Exhaust Piping + DynoMax Super Turbo Muffler - FREE
Casper 4 Wire O2 Sensor Conversion - $75
Innovate Motorsports LC-1 Wideband O2 Sensor - $125
RKSport Uppper Engine Mount - $20
RKSport Lower Engine Mount - $20
CarCustoms.net Tranny Mounts - FREE
Prothane Control Arm Bushings - $20
Neon Rear Disc Brake Conversion - $450
5Zigen FN01R-C 17" Rims + BFGoodrich g-Force KDW2 225/45/17 Tires - $800
Lotek Triple Gauge A-Pillar - $50
Autometer Boost Gauge - $50
Cyberdyne Fuel Pressure Gauge - $75
Innovate Motorsports Wideband O2 Sensor G3 Gauge - $75
Knockoff B&M Short Throw Shifter - FREE
RKSport Trunklid Carbon Fiber Trim Piece - FREE
Premier DEH-P520 CD Player - $50
Rockford Fosgate Fanatic Q 4.00" Components - FREE
Sound Splinter Ignition RL-i 8" Subwoofer - $100
JL 250/1 Amplifier - $150
RKSport Front Lip + Custom Chad Projector Fogs (currently mounted in the lip) - $150
Extra 4000 mile Getrag transmission - $150
Full set of steelies with Blizzacks - FREE
Interior backseat plastic tan panels (could take these and do a custom speaker install or something). - FREE
Drew's hood - FREE

Totaling up these prices that I came up with comes out to $6510, which doesn't include the free stuff that I'm including with the car (exhaust, tranny mounts, etc.). As far as I can recall, these prices are pretty competitive, so you are getting a pretty sweet deal if you buy everything outright for the $6000 I'm now offering it for. Then again, if you want the car and just a few parts, that's ok too. Pick what you want.

I'm currently not parting the car out yet. Like I said, this is an a la carte listing of what you can buy with the car if you decide to buy it and don't want everything that is already on the car. If I do decide to part out, yes I will ship the wheels.

Regardless, here's the answers to your questions:

Wheels are perfect except for one with a small rock chip:

The carbon fiber piece is seen in this stock rksport picture:
