after seeing the damage done in VA by the recent tornados, just looking to see that you guys are all ok and escaped with hopefully little to no damage.

WTF? tornadoes in va? and in suffolk nonetheless? id better drop dad an email, as he just moved to suffolk from chesapeake.

everything stayed clear of VA Beach... it was a noreaster and it wasnt quite east enough to do anything here, but every other city in the region was hit hard...

i just got an email back from dad and he said he only had a few shingles torn off of the house and a tree down in the neighbor's yard.

The base in Norfolk got hit hard.....between piers 2 and 5, almost all of the cars had their windows blown out.....a few weeks ago i was on pier 4.....i woulda been pissed.....but those in Suffolk, which is pretty much South of Norfolk, VA Beach and Chesapeake got NAILED...houses turned to splinters and cars tossed around....even an SUV thrown into the side of building......it was pretty bad
