TPS sensor needed ASAP!!!
Wednesday, April 09, 2008 5:52 PM
My water injection system drowned my TPS sensor... It thinks i am at 10% throttle when i am at an idle, and thinks i am at 82% under WOT with pedal to the floor.

this was not the case this weekend.... so between now and then, my TPS took a dump.

So if anyone has a spare throttlebody or TPS laying around, or knows of a cavy in a yard somewhere... let me know i need one ASAP!!

Any auto parts store should have them in stock for you, $30-$40.

yeah sorry guys... That is where i went first... and autozone said they didnt have them for my car, and i should try a dealer... but someone told me the dealer wanted like $80 for the TPS... so i figured it was some rare and expensive hard to find part, so i posted here....

well after a bit of digging, i found that the tps is the same on most all cavy's and between the 2.2 and 2.4....

so i looked up a 2002 2.2 cavy, and sure enough autozone had it, and it was in stock too... and only $40 with a 2 yr warranty.

(but look up a 2002, 2.4L, z24 TPS at autozone.com... says they dont stock them and cant even order them, and the computers in the store say the same thing)

so thanks everyone for your help, but i got it taken care of...
