Honestly, in my opinion that's not really a good way to sell something. When you have someone interested in something that you are selling you should be willing to go out of your way to get them what they are asking for, especially pictures when you are selling something over the internet. Did you ever happen to think they would like the see the condition of the product since it's not brand new? Or maybe they want to see exactly what color blue it is, since last time I checked there are multiple shades. You should think about these things...

Honestly, I could care less about your opinion. Thanks for the much appreciated thread crap. The person requesting "pics" is hardly descriptive regarding what they actually want to see. My description says the lip is in "great condition" but it needs a paint job. How much more descriptive can I get? The lip itself is fine (no gashes, chips out of the poly, nothing). The paint is scratched up, hence why it needs a paint job. I'm not selling this lip as a painted ready to go part. This should be self evident in my original description if you actually take a second to think about it. Also, why should I have to go any further out of my at this point? At the price I've posted for this part, I'm already bending over for whoever buys it.
I guess I could of taken a second to say that I've been on the org since 2001, I'm the last of two original members in J-BOM, my ebay name is Emulsified with over 230+ positive feedback, blah blah blah. However, the people I actually care about selling this lip to already know who I am, know where to find me, and know that I don't screw people over on a purchase. In fact, nine times out of ten, the part is in BETTER condition than what I describe it to be.

I never said you had to care about my opinion, and that's why it's an opinion. And last time I checked trying to give someone a few pointers wasn't thread crapping, I'm pretty sure I'm just trying to help you out and make the community better. As for the person wanting to see pics, I think they were very clear on what they wanted, they wanted to see pics of the product you are selling. And apparently you can get much more descriptive than you were in the first post, because you just did by going into a lot more detail on the condition of the lip in your second post.
As for stating how long you've been a member of the .org and all that stuff, even if you would have done that it still wouldn't have prevented someone from asking for pictures of the lip. That info has nothing to do with getting pictures of the product they want to buy. This was never about you screwing people over...

Someone just buy the lip. It's nice, but it needs a paint job. You won't be disappointed.
