i need a ld9 motor badly... i want one in running condition. i wanna get the cavy back on the road asap. I'd prefer decently low miles.. maybe around 60,000ish. my price range is up to 300-400 dollars. thanks zach

Yeah,junkyards may be your best bet but even then I have seen a few in a yard that had 80-90k and they wanted around $600.Try Ebay or even do a search on Google.GL,I need one as well.

well car-parts.com has motors pretty cheap, you can get one's with 60k on them for like 600 but like i said i don't have too much money right now..
I checked Carpart.com and you were right they do have some cheaper motors,I even found a few 2.3 HO motors and a few listed under the W41 motor as well,I'm going to call and see if they really have a W41 or not.

good luck on it. i bought a ld9 with 46k on it and i paid 700 for it. i have a spare motor but it has a bad rod. once i get the new motor in and i know i wont need the other motor, i'll probably just give it away.
biggsz24, if you arent gonna need my engine (if you sell your car), i'll have a spare in march...... rebuilt 4200ish miles ago
