I need a good engine shop (northern ohio)
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 9:08 AM
I am considering having my2002 2.4L engine rebuilt/beefed up by a reputable shop. But there are very few places i know of in the area that work on 4cyl, and especially not GM 4cyls...

a couple tuner places that do honda and such... but no one with any gm experience.

I currently have what appears to be a bad wrist pin.... so i need to replace at least 1 piston and rod.... so i figure i might as well take the opportunity to go with forged pistons and rods in all 4. and then maybe a forged crack as well.... But if i am doing all this, i might as well have it bored and all.. treat it to a full rebuild... But i dont have the means to do all that. So that is why i hoped you guys knew of a shop that could help me out. I live in cleveland Ohio, but i could travel a decent bit if the shop was worth it.

Let me know who you suggest, where they are located, what you have had done there and what they charged you.

my poor baby is sick... someone help me...
(2.4L engine in my cavy is ticking bad... need to make it stop)

I have a whole lot of pictures for it if you need any. 2.3 oil pump swap that is.
