technically, the SS style hood IS the sleeker, smaller scooped hood. the one you want, the original ram air, is larger.
personally i like the older version better too.

i just looked on RK's site and see that thats what they are calling it now, but when the first hood came out it was just "ram air" and then the other style came out and the second one was "SS ram air". if i can find one of my old RK catalogs i'll see if i can post it up.

I know I'm going to hate asking, but did anyone find the older one cause I can't remember the right one. Joe what hood the newer or older SS hood?
I have the original/older SS hood with the fat scoop, the one above from Rodimus' car is indeed dubbed the 98 SS style as Brandon/Boltz mentioned.
I spoke with Mike today about it, needs some time and a little work, but for someone seeking one it's not a horrible deal I'm throwing out.
I think I found one of the old ones from the gallery. I'm not sure what front bumper that is, but I think that is the older hood we are talking about.
Here's the exact hood I have for anyone interested, PM me for details as she needs a little work. I will be leaving for Ohio on Saturday if anyone is interested I could possibly bring it down, I will be near Akron.

well even though its gone.....how much were you askin?
Cut Mike an awesome deal as I'm going down to Ohio to pick up a hood, he's meeting us over there, and it's nice to have a hood on the car for the drive down.
Hood also needs some fiberglass loving, which Mike can address a little easier than I can being he's played that game before.
Basically I got raped trading my CF hood for this one, but it happens, and in the end I can't blame anyone. Just make the better out of it.
