Has anyone in the mid east near fort wayne warsaw area done the neon rear disk break swap?? If so can I get some idea from you on how its done. Granted the sticky is right there, and the info is so scattered out that its not funny.

heres my Q do i have to put the e-brake on?? I have the lovely automatic so an e-brake is not really needed.

from my understanding the neon bracket needs to machined or sized to fit the jbody bearing in to the hole make sure u keep the same center point of the neon bearing hole so the caliper wont hit the rotor and make new holes for the j bearing. you will also have to machine or grind flat the braket where the bearing sits back against so it sits square on the car. all the info is in the first three to four pages in supension and brake- neon disk swap how to. gl

Hay do I need to install the "drum like E brakes" of can I get rid of it and not have an E brake?
