Anybody near the pittsburgh area (wierton, steubenville, etc.) want to trade hoods for a cavalier Titanium (silver) carbon fiber apc hood? It retails for 2k, but this one needs some minor fiberglass work. Let me know what you got, and where your at. Send me some pics, or an offer. I have decided I want something different. I have pics if you want them.

Sorry to change the subject, but are you from Weirton/Steubenville? I'm from Steubenville, and the closest I've seen anyone on here was probably St. Clairsville. I live in Columbus now, but I still visit my parents often back in Steubenville. Ok, back to the hood again....
APC and 2K doesn't seem like they go well together. Pic's of the hood would help out to sell it.
they could of been selling them for 2k and that might of had something to do with them going bankrupt
correct me if im wrong, but didnt you win that hood for like $200 or something like that?
according to APC's site...when they were around...suggested retail was $2000.....not that I paid, or am looking to get anywhere close to that for this hood. It is a decent hood, but no hood is worth that.
I paid around $300 + shipping for the hood.....looking to get the $300 back, or trade for something different style wise. ill try to get pics up later today.

Oh, and I am west of Pittsburgh, about 20-30 minutes east of Steubenville.

Actually I got it for my black cavy....thinking that black doesnt go good with standard carbon fiber (at least in my opinion). I will send you an email as soon as I get a chance. For some reason the pics I took came out VERY dark....I am trying to lighten them up before getting them out.

ok, here it is...a little lightened up so you can actually see it. also please note it is sitting on the car...not actually bolted down.
Damn I wish I had the money for the Sedan for that hood, but like everyone I'm broke for the summer. If I didn't order my LS front bumper I would be good on it, but I had to get it while it was good.

Fitment was very nice, lined up with the fenders very well. I will try to get some pics of the whole car, although I am having some digital camera issues. The pic I posted was from a couple months ago, when I got the hood back from the body shop.

Im open for whatever that is not OEM as far as hoods go. CF, Fiberglass, whatever....post up or email me a pic of what you got. I dont have any pics of what needs the fiberglass work, so I will give a description....
Basically needs new nuts epoxied into place for where your stock hardware bolts to the hood (hinges and latch). The shop started to install it, and 3 bolts started turning, they had to cut the heads off the bolts to get the hood off, and my factory hood back on. So it sits just like that in my garage, but I didnt really like the way it looked on the car, so instead of fixing it, I decided to trade it in or sell it.
If you have a really nice hood, I would do trade + cash since this one needs fixed
