Has anyone bought a set of these before?..]KYB GR-2 Struts

Just thought i'd ask before I spent 200 dollars and got something cheap that doesn't fit. Thanks

are you lowered?? it woud be basically pointless to purchase any shocks that wont handle the drop if youre lowered.
the gr-2's are good for stock replacements, but not if you have lowering springs.

based on the amount of drop you have witll determine which shocks you should get.

I have a set of coilovers i need to put on them...which set would you recommend?

i recommend konis or tokico

yeah... konie yellows or tokico dspecs. with coilovers you can really get whichever you want... since you can choose how much of a drop you want. so if you're only going to drop it 1.4" then you can gett less expensive shocks like koni reds and be alright. but if you're lowering it more than 1.5" i believe, you'll need to get the more expensive ones (koni yellows or tokico dspecs). how much do you plan on lowering it?? that'll help you run out uptions.

I wouldn't put them on coilovers - i do however have the gr2's on stock springs and it rides like a dream.
