Ok, so I have been fighting with this car for quite a while and cant really find the money to finish it for now. It is a 2001 Cavalier Z24 with power everything and modded and 59k on the clock, but well maintained. So Im at the point where I can handle a car payment, but not really money to finish modding it. So im looking at getting an Premodded or Stock 05' Cobalt SS/SC. Now here is the tricky part. I owe 6500 left on the car I was taking out a 5 year on a 10k loan ( car was 8k with 2k for a 100k mile warrenty through the credit union and gap insurance ), so payments are 150 a month till its paid. I just checked on KBB and it said the car was worth 5900 and I still owe 6500. I could handle selling the car and not owing much left and getting a loan on something else, but I dont wanna have a ton of negitive equity or sell for a lot less and pay two car payments.
So my question is should I try to...
1. Trade it in modded
2. Trade it in stock and have it repainted and sell the A/M parts
3. Sell it locally or on Ebay modded
4. Sell it stock locally and sell mods on here or ebay
Im really not sure what I should do, I wanna get something else stock and leave it that way thats factory boosted, but I dont want to keep paying for the cav, I dont need to make the money back from my mods, I just want it all gone, like I never had modded it to begin with lol. It is a great car, but since I have to have people help me with mods since im not really good with body work or engine work or anything,but anyone with decnent skills could finish the car very easlity and its a great car still. I have to wait to get things done and im sick of paying a lot of money for parts that I want, and since its so far its not like I can just stop buying them, because its needs finished.

Wow what is with everyone getting rid of the J's in IN after i leave??? Well in all honesty in current condition of the car(primer, no rims) i dont see 6500 dollars being able to be the selling price.....ive known you for some time now and i know how badly youve wanted a Cobalt ss/sc.....so heres my .02
Sell the aftermarket parts off the car....take it back to stock.....go get a cheap maaco color match paint job so the car is red again... try to sell the car as a stock car on ebay or on here for BB value....if it doesnt sell in a month or so....try and use it as a trade- in if your not worried about having a car payment....if the car is in good condition they should at least give you close to bb value on it and it wont make you super upside down on payments on the SS/SC
