Well, some of you wanted updates...

Here goes,

As some of you know, I have been on the pursuit of being one of the first M90 supercharged 2.6L stroker Quad 4. I have recently found that dream to be a soon lived reality.

Through the great help of my "sponsor", White Knuckle Customs, I am getting the fabrication for the M90 done and the stroker custom built in the near future. I hope to be able to debut the car at the Ohio Bash this year, if all goes as planned.

The first three pictures are of the car as it sets today, 2.3L HO with a little work, Class Glass Carbon fiber hood, and pretty much thats it.

The last three pics are of the supercharger install in its beginning stage, I'm doing fitments and bracket fabrication, as well as I'm going to "move" a few things.

The Car I am using for this process is the car I got from Brian Anderson, I still owe him a lot of thanks. It has a 2.4L ATX in it, but all I need it for is to make sure the M90 and all the piping will fit in my 95.

Before you say anything, next year will come the IRS and the F-body brake upgrade to lower the car a little and make it handle a lot better. I am trying to get WKC to market these items in an "easy" to assemble kit.

On with the pics...

the rear, I know it's dirty, but I clean it and it's the same a day later with the snow.

The passenger side, you don't want to see the drivers side yet.

the hood, in it's primer stage, finishing it up in the next few weeks.

this mess shows where the supercharger will "sorta" be setting.

See that green piece of angle on the driver side bumper mount? It marks the location of one of the moved items.

Another pic of the relocation from a different angle. The relocation parts will be bolt on and "should" work with the stock front Sunfire bumper. We'll try it on a Cavalier as soon as we get a donor car to work with.

I plan on the M90 pumping out about 17psi or so, whatever it takes for 350-400whp. We're figuring on about 450ftlbs of torque. The boost is going to be adjustable through means to be announced.

I'm going to run custom motor mounts and a Getrag 282 transmission with LSD and close ratio gears, at least 1-3 possibly 4th as well, but I want to retain drive worthiness.

The Megasquirt will be here next week at latest. then the install starts since I have the fuel pump and the browntops I can do the install and be hitting 300HP ASAP.

Anyway, that's my current update. More to come as I learn more.

Hmmm..... Guess I'll have to hit you on AIM with a couple questions if I ever catch you on there. Sounds like theres a part for the M90 that you're doing that I may be interested in getting ahold of myself.

Oh, and a 282 question.

Getting done with every free minute I have

Hood is being finished along with the body kit and full paintjob

Jason, when I'm sure it works I'll bass the info on to you, it works in theory right now (on paper) so it should work on the motor. And the 282 was made for the 3.1L as well, so it should work on the 3400, you just need a mount that is found on the N cars.

thanks guys, even you tabasco LOL

The hood: that's MY hood, I don't want your hood or their hood, and besides, it looks better in person. Not being defensive, just remaining "custom" in a cookie cutter world.

I thought that was for the T550.... or does it use the same mounts as the 282? Thats what I wasnt real sure on. Cuz I know where I can get myself a 282 out of a J-body.... but I'd still have to find the mount.

well, from what my guy says, the one mount is solid to the frame. he had one for me, but it got damaged by someone doing something else to the car.

Ok where is the real update. Nothing I see here is new for me. I hope that hood that you are doing you follow the lines of the hood more, like in the sig you have. Otherwise I don't think you will pull it off. Can't wait to see this done.

ok, let me get the pix out...I put on the front and rear bumper, installed the solid upper (long story to that one) and am working on getting the M90 mounted as soon as I get a weekend off.

The only real issue I'm having is money to buy the custom parts for the motor build. My insurance seems to take out 2 months worth of payments every month (I'm like 2 months into the next half). So, with that said, for GMTB I may just be running the M90 on the HO with 7psi (until the stroker finally gets built).

on with the pix, and yes I know the fit is not right yet and the hood now needs shaped to the kit, but isn't fiberglass a wonderful thing LOL. Oh and don't bitch about the exhaust (coming after the motor) the height (may just stay that way due to critters) or the rims (need tires for my GT rims for this season, then come the bigger rims with the bigger brakes).

ok you can bitch, but I already know about it.

Also, I have a load of parts for sale, and can remove body panels from my donor car if anyone else needs them. I also have the GT kit for sale, I need the cash for the motor. make an offer on anything you might need. If I have it I'm getting rid of it, if I don't need it.

I guess I forgot to upload the rear pics, ok then, on the next update LOL

I do need to work the front of the eyelids a little to hit the hood shape better, I am kinda doing 30 things at once right now though. Rest assured that it will be perfect before paint.

yeah, they matched the stock front better...the streetfire has a different shape. I have to rework this out now, as well as the front corners where the headlight spaces are. The streetfire has a different shape there as well. Good thing is though...fiberglass is easy to work with LOL
