Interested in getting your J dynoed?
Wednesday, March 07, 2007 4:54 AM
Im gauging interest to see how many people would be interested in a weekend dyno day? Im still gathering details on how much I can let you know right at this moment because I barely know the details.. It was just brought up to me to see if I could get some people to do it...

It will be here in Columbus at IPSmotorsports down on Harmon Ave just past Downtown. 3 pulls for your ride.. If you want you can even dyno with a tuning sofware. I guess Innovative WB or AEM WB with oxygen sensor..(Ill keep you updated on those details).

Price will be VERY cheap. Cheaper if I can get at least 20 people. Weekends are being booked right now, so if your interested we need to get this rollin.

If your interested please list your name and what car you will be getting dynoed.

1.David- Chevy Cavalier

Ill check on that today for ya.. My guess is that they would take it away seeing that would be giving out free stuff.. But I'll check.

Theres no way to "store tuning software inside a ecu"

What they are probabally offering is to log AFR Wideband readings, without HPtuners or something similar, you cannot modify settings in your ECU.

Good point.. But if you decide to do performance upgrades later on you could get a base dyno before you start adding mods.. Then keep dynoing after mods just to see how far up in HP you've jumped..

Alright guys.. Got the final go ahead. Dyno days can only be done on a Saturday.. So if some of you will be ready in a couple weeks we can get this done.. Once I get 20 cars then we can decide on which Saturday is best for everybody..

35 dollars for 3 pulls.. They can hook up a Wideband if you want, thats pretty much it I think.

I probably wont get 20 cars from only this site, but we'll see.. I got guys on another local site here that want to sign up.. So if your definately interested, list your name and car below.. Once people start listing names, we'll talk about getting me the down payment.

Thanks..

2 Mat- Cavalier

Cool Brandon...

btw, atp turbo has the t3 gasket for like 8 something shipped.. Thats where I got mine at.. I got my Russels -4an turbo feed line and my -10an turbo return line from Jegs. 3 Ft in each, then we cut to length.

You know I'm in David. There is such a huge range of stock dyno readings on the cobalts, that I'm curious to know what mine puts out. I've seen dynos range from 210 all the way to 238 on bone stock balts. Kinda curious where in that range mine is before i stage it and to any major work.
