Looking for some junkyard help

Alright, well I spent the earlier part of this morning calling 6 junkyards and either they dont have what i need or its just really expensive.. So i figured id come on here asking for some help from you guys. If some one of you willing to help could call your local or favorite junkyards or get me a # for one that ur pretty sure that would have what i need(listed below)

I will travel decent amount for a great prices, but id like to keep it within my neighboring states of indiana(ohio, illinois, michigan, kentucky) and of course indiana for you guys down south and near indy area.

anyway here is what all i'm lookin for

Driver and Passengerside 1/4 Panels, good condition. off the newest cav i can get. Color dont care and i yes i mean teh whole 1/4 panel.. for both..

Driver and Passengerside Doors, good condition, need power windows and locks, good windows(mine are scratched all to hell), and the door panels would be a plus, again off the newest cav i can get(would perfer 00+ on these), and color doesnt matter

00+ inner dash, bezel, and metal support bar. Color doesnt matter, needs to be a 00+ and no crack on windshield piece. or a very small one i guess i could settle for if price is right.

If you guys could help i'd appreciate and for those of you wonder, yes it is what it sounds. basically full restoration being done lol wanna try and get some of this done this summer finally..

Yours are beyond repair I assume?

All I know is you're going to pay a good price no matter where you go, you're almost better off purchasing a car hit hard in the front. I know my buddy just spent $200 on a door from a 2004....you figure $200 for each panel you need, and you're up to $800. Smashed frontend Cavs don't go for much more than $1,000 where I live....plus you could get the whole 2k+ dash etc.

My doors had rust underneath like most do after time, it never penetrated the skin though. I've had both repaired, they basically sandblasted it, reshaped where the skin folds over, epoxy primer, and some seam sealer. All fixed up! No idea how bad yours are though. As for the 1/4 panel I have a minor spot under my gas door, but they're just going to cut out and replace that section.

1/4 panels are rusted pretty bad esp on the bottom up to bout 8" from the bottom. doors wow the doors are rotting from the inside its gettin pretty bad.. i wouldnt mind gettin a newer one from junkyard with front end damage.. but.. i cant find any worth it.. most around here want 2grand and up still..

this car has been flooded before i bought it, hense why when i first bought it the engine was swapped out, now the metal is finally showing it pretty bad.. suspension is so so too, ive already had to replace teh rear axle cuz rust ate through the strut mount enough to weaken it to snap at about 60mph

but i've thought about it joe. guess ill call some further junkyards and see as well

I'll keep an eye out.

....and not to be offensive, but don't you think after all the cost of picking up these parts, the labor involved with replacing 1/4 panels, paint etc......honestly it would be easier to pick up a newer J and call it good?! That's just a little bit of work there!

I weighed out the pros and cons with this '97 on a similiar scale here, and I know myself it's a money pit! Somedays I find myself wishing I would've just bought an Eco powered car, boosted it, dropped it, called it a day (original idea when selling the '01).....but my pride was on the line, and instead of doing the everyday thing, I'm staying true to the LD9 and giving this '97 a new life. Idiot move on my part .

free labor lol and i have free access to mig and tig welder. i can primer, who needs paint? lol i can paint and clear too but im waiting on that.

It would be easier to do the newer j thing.. but cost is issue... i figure this
the lowest price i got now is
doors-350 each
1/4 panels-250 each
dash-lets say $500
Labor,primer,materials needed-call it $300

total to $2000( i did not plan that lol, it came out that way on accident haha)

now, 2500-6000 for a newer depending on condition.
higher insurance, im paying 85 a month right now, my 00 ran me 118 and that was before my speeding ticker and a totaled car. So just thats almost $400 saved a year.

I say there is a good price difference on the two, the dash part i dont have to do anytime soon, but i figured since i was asking doors and 1/4 panels mise throw the dash in the same post lol. after i get the bulk of exterior done and whole car primered comes interior.. dash isnt a must, i have 2 cracks but want to go to 2k for better look and a idea i got.

Joe, i know your ahead of alot of work also, so i think you can understand. i have gone through 2 big sites around here in IN for junked cars and the ones they got are either sold(trust me i was really diggin this 04, and its gone), to much front end damage, got rear damage, not that great/high miles or 4dr lol

we have a yard down here in KY thats pretty good. Its about 5-10 minutes away from the IN border. (near Laweranceburg IN)....

Take whatever interstate you want, get onto 275 towards Lexington Louisville, take the Hebron Exit, turn Right off the exit. Then take the road where a Marathon sits (i think its petersburg or limaburg rd.) Then its about 1/2 mile down that road on the right..

Its called Besslers U Pull & Save.
