searching for job in Noblesville area
Sunday, February 25, 2007 9:03 PM
Hey guys/gals, I plan on moving to the Noblesville/Westfield/Fishers area soon but i need to have a job(s) that will cover rent cost and be able to add to the bank.

So i wanted to ask anyone in the area if they knew of any openings at their current employer or areas they've heard are highering.

if searched careerbuilder and monster.com, filled in a few applications, but im not going to stop there by any means.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

THANKS!!

Not to be a ass or anything but go to a fast food joint intill something pop's up.

ive worked in food services for awhile now (at perfect north slopes) and i have VERY little desire to work there again...

plus, i have my bachelors and can prolly find something better than McDonalds. Hopefully, it will just be for the summer and i'll get a full time teaching job... but until then i need something that can pay the bills and almost more importantly that wont cause me to go insane!!

im not necessarily asking for any suggestions but more personal contacts. but, suggestions are welcomed... serious ones.

well like I said before just go to a fast food place intill you land something that you want to do since you got your bachelors.

Umm what are your skills, I have a few contacts. What is your bachelor's in? Fresh out of school you should be able to make $30-$35k/yr.

Hmm, I dont know then. Maybe retail? It's a step up from fast food, Noblesville has a ton of retail. Places like Home depot do a ton of business starting about now (I dont know that for a fact, but I'm about to spend a bunch of money there).

I'm sure we could find someone that works at Home Depot that might have some influence in getting you a job.

FORUM FTW!!!!

My brother-in-law has worked at the headquarters for I think 2 years now and he loves it. I'm going to try and see if they'll hire me part-time for when i go back to school. From what i hear it is a great company to work for with great benefits.
