Thats because when it was started, it was known as INDY TRUCK BASH.
With most of my friends being Mini Truckers, and the shows roots are still focused on Mini Trucks, I just call it Indy Truck Bash, as most people I know do.

its no longer held at irp either. its held at orp oreilly bought it out
i'll be there. im there every year and its something i wont miss. after 10 years of diffrent shows its still what i condiser the best show out there.2-3000 show cars and allot of fun. and the majority of them are actually cars worth entering. i'll finally be in the wild class this year wich means i can get shut out of an entirely new category
