Probably because someone owns rights to the name even though they damn well know there will never be a "Bash" again.

Maybe you should call it "J Car Bash" rather than "Jbody Bash or J Bash",,, or "What comes before K Car Bash"

Date seems to be set at July 28th and 29th...this is more of a regional hey im gonna need some help post. I'm not ready to announce to the org yet

ive never been to one but this has got me interested.

and in my honest opinion i would steer away from the auto x. as fun as it is, there just would be an overwhelming amount of cars and it takes a lot of times to get runs it. i do it a lot and it averages 35-60 seconds a run, it just takes a lot of time and a lot of workers to get it done. for drag racing they shuffle through really fast and there are staging lanes. Auto x would be nice but i just think it would cause you a lot of headache in the long run. and is it a good sign the website is down for the dragstrip.

Let me know where to send the $25 if thats what your asking from 40 people, im in.

Granted its an 8 hour drive from me and my cavalier isnt anything special but id still maybe make the trip.

02 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon

well I hear from tim now that he has someone "interested" in hosting the bash, so maybe tim has something going. Knowin our luck though, it'll be a @!#$ track, in a bad location, but he's gonna wait too long. I dunno... really just wanna make this happen, but I don't wanna fight tim for attendance, cuz it'll only hurt us both. I notified him of everything I had going for us, so we'll see whats up. I'll keep everyone posted.
