www.wingedwarrior.net in a nutshell, it is a Charity event for the kids at the local Childrens hospital, where we all get together, and give with our hearts, as well as our right foot!! AMS took the championship last year, but the competition will be stiff next year for sure.

Hey guys. I was a racer in this even for 2006. It was good fun and for a great cause. I was also the ONLY CAVALIER out there!!...not suprising but still it would be nice to get some of you guys with turboed or supercharged cars out there. You do have to be accepted by the team leader to join the team. They prefer faster cars because it is still a competition between imports and domestics. And yes, there are Civics out there to beat, but also many more sweet cars. There is also a nice car show for those who don't race, but love to display their cars. One Cavalier did do the show this year, but I didn't get his name. Again, you don't have to have the fastest, craziest horsepower car in the world. My car is an autoX car and that is more where I helped the team. I sucked it up in the drag racing part, but we all have strengths and weaknesses. If you're interested drop me a PM or post and I can answer any questions you have.
"If you aren't shifting, then you certainly aren't driving!"
Ill definately try to make it out there.. Only if Jason(sndsgood) lets me stay at his house hehe.. But yea, seems like fun and for a good cause.

Welcome back my friend!!! I hope you make this one as well!! We are having the BIG GUNS race in the "tuner class", and the rest of the spots are left to us 'average' joes. This will be smooth and fun, and YES, it is a "team effort". the big HP cars will BLOW in the autox, where cars like the cavaliers will help the team there. The BIG HP cars will help out the "cavaliers"on the drags. TEAM EFFORT. I can't wait! Thanks for helping me get the word out!!
I can help answer your questions also, just ask.
Yeah Kevin I do have a couple of q's. What exactly is the new "tuner class"? You mean cars like mine, or the AMS and Buscher guys or do you mean by the experience of the racer? And when do you expect to have the new site info up for the event next year? I have been telling people to check the site, but it isn't saying much about WWIII.

I believe the rules committee will have the rules posted when the registration is open, which is the first of January. ALL DETAILS are on that. "tuner class" is where the gutted cars/ deep pocket racers will go in. the rest of the field will be filled by people like you and me. (That is who this event is for, average joes). So it will be MORE FUN! Stay tuned, as we will open up the site soon for registration.
i will have to bring the car out and have it done by the show, if i have my s/c on and tuned and ready to go then i will definitely be out, it will be on by then, when do you have to register for team usa and how or is it at the show
You guys have some SWEEEEEEEEEEEET looking rides!!

Yep. I blew up my bullettproof Transfercase at Muncie
about 6 weeks ago, so I am getting that rebuilt, and am going BIG turbo as well. Maybe a sticker here or there as well! LOL. I will stop by Stanley when I get it finished. Later Jake.

Can't wait to see what you guys bring!!
Flyer looks pretty nice Kevin. I'm really looking forward to the event. Are those who raced last year a shoe in as had been discussed? Also, are you planning to use the road course section for the autocross portion this year? That would be pretty sweet to utilize a road course.
