I don't know why people passed that and not issue 4 (except being a const. admend.) but good thing I'm not a smoker. Are are health care premiums going to go down now?

Thats good news.. There hasn't been any smoking here in Columbus for the last year or maybe more.. So we're used to the smoke free restaraunts and Clubs now

The did the same thing in Toledo. Here where I live the passed one, but you could still smoke in a bar. Which was what they considered a place that got more than like 65% of it's income from the sale of alcohol.
I just think they've gotten a TAD excessive about it. People I work with was all upset about it cuz they're trying to ban smoking at work. But we have a patio outside that we're required to smoke on anyways, so the law change doesnt reallly affect anything.

You get used to it quicker than you would think...
Because issue 4 pretty much did nothing and was a constitutional ammendment (which means it trumped 5 if enacted) and was backed by tobacco companies. I will smoke from time to time outside, but I for one am glad I dont have to deal with it anymore while Im out trying to eat, or enjoy a beer at a pub with some friends. Theres no reason people employed at bars should be subjected to prolonged second hand smoke.

I hate being in a bar/club and going home with red eyes and a headache from Smokers, it only kills them anyway. They should ban cigarettes PERIOD.

Its not a bad thing in Cali to have to smoke outside, and I smoke, but we don't have to deal with smoking in 0° F weather either.

The law is way to strict for the fact your not allowed to smoke in your own car which is considered private property. Also if your sitting on your front porch and smoking a cig a cop can give you a ticket.
I can see the part in restaurants but give bars and clubs the choice. Its a good law just taken to far
