Hey i have a 99 cavalier its an automatic with the 2.2 motor i need a valve cover gasket head gasket and probably a new head if anyone knows where to get one cheap let me know or possibly even a new motor mines an automatic, but if i could find a good deal on a manuel with trans that would work to some body get back at me and let me know thanx.....

my 2.2 out of my 2001 is coming out of the car in a few weeks. entire engine and tranny up for sale.

The parts you need can be aquired at any autoparts store. For the head, how bad is it messed up that you cant just take it to a machine shop and have it planed?

In addition, it wont matter if the engine comes off an auto or a 5spd car. You'll just bolt on your current flexplate and you'll be good to go.
