a beat up 1994 ford ranger 5spd 4cyl(but has 8 spark plugs... i think the engine dreams of being a V8) and its getting VERY close to 200k....... its got no balls but its dependable transportation

it got totaled in august last year and i quit my job at the body shop so that i could go to school full time the following january so i havent had the money to get a new car and start modding it since i didnt get squat for the settlement outside of my insurance company paying off my loan onit... gap insurance is always a good thing to have :/ i got the truck from my dad and its got the BARE essentials... manual windows, no AC, short cab short bed, 2wd 5spd, tape deck(that doesnt work) the wimpy 4cyl with 8 spark plugs... clothe bench seat.... the owners manual says "not reccomended for towing"................ and the gap company too their sweet time takin care of what the insurance company wouldnt pay after they payed off the loan that some how my credit got screwed up and sky bank called me and told me that i still owed them like 1800 in payments and late charges from august to january.... i called the gap company about it because it was on their end and here they put some sort of delay on payment for a "Classified" reason... so because of all that crap, i wasnt able to get a loan for a new car(i really wanted a tC and still do).... all that after not missing a single payment the whole time i payed on the car............ all the kid got was a $500 dollar fine and 2 months added onto his suspension on his license that he was already ignoring to begin with........ all i got was the 200 deductable from my medical expenses and i took that 200 and bought me a little 12ft jonboat and a trolling motor and spent a good 4 days a week this summer fishing at a couple small local lakes because i needed Some sort of freedom since i couldnt get it from my car because that asshat was showing off and not watching what he was doing without a license or insurance......IMPO... i think asshat got the better end of this deal because all he got was a slap on the wrist and a fine..... im stuck with 200 bucks, the airbrushed hood of my car, and a beat up old pickup truck that slowly makes it from A to B........... 5 months after the accident i saw that moron driving a mid 90's civic in bright metallic red on 18s with neons everywhere ..... i ran into his dad at walmart(he was just as mad at his son as i was when he rearended me) and he told me that he still has 2 years on his suspension and is still driving with no insurance.... but my lawyer said i shouldnt sue him because, and i quote, "He doesnt have much money and court costs would be higher then what youd get out of him"......... all i can say is hes got more then i do and i guess it pays to break the law because he only works part time and his dad says he doesnt get any money from him....................... idunno... the past year has been a pretty hard year for me emotionally, financially, and mentally.... i cant count the times that ive just wanted to give up this past year and thankfully my girlfriend(she bought her cobalt that she bought THE DAY mine was totalled... talk about a slap in the face) have been there to make sure that i didnt give up..... then when i started fishing 4 days a week to deal with all the stress.... she complained i went fishing too much but its all good... thats what a girlfriend is supposed to do

sorry i just had to vent some more

but yea to answer yer question..... im driving a 1994 2WD ford ranger.... its sucks gas and it takes a small fortune to fill that big tank up(big comepared to the tank on the fire)
