Well my matrix short ram fit just fine, with out modification, but it was on a LO manifold....and a tight fit.
If I still had my computer hook up at home I would upload the pics.

if you feel like moving the battery up in the engine bay (very easy) you have a straight shot comming out of the HO manifold down to the inner fender well using a 90degree elbow, heres a pic of mine and it works and sounds great.
just took my intake off my HO mani yesterday cuz im goin turbo no need for it any more, it may fit around the battery but i had it routed down into the fender area ( old pic in pro but not much to look at ) and its not too pretty now from shovin it down there but it worked amazingly pm me if interested or if you want me to get a pic its just layin in my garage
OneBadZ24- I want to do that straight shot down the fender well but how do you remove the battery tray? lol Isnt it drilled in?
gmanz24- Thanks man, Ill let ya know

i thought it was welded in...im listening too
I'm almost sure that it is spot welded in, but not to hard to move I don't think. Just takes some time to do so.
Thanks for those pictures man.. I will try to tackle this project this weekend

hey if you still want a cold air, I got one. and I have a stock s-tube
^^ Thanks, I got the stock Z s-tube, but its too damn wide to fit because of the battery and the big coolant hose

well i have a hacked ebay cold air that fit on mine with the ho mani. lol, you can have it for cheap if you wanna try it.
Thanks man, Im going to attempt this this week.. Btw, did you install these bolts with nuts to hold the botls in? Im just wondering how you access the nuts from underneath. I could take a look here in a lil bit.

the bolts i got are 9/16th i believe, they are just a bit bigger than the 1/2inch hole drilled. So i put a hex bit on my drill and muscled them in there creating a thread for them. They are solid as a rock on there, I wouldnt worry about bolts.
or trying to access nutz from underneeth
get ahold of JayVan (qwik2k2z24) hes done it also with help from the pics and i believe he didnt use nutz either.
