im in desperate need of that exhaust header shroud. i need it in about three weeks and can't find one, if anyone close by has one i'll buy it or heck i'll even borrow it, i just need it for import truck bash at indy for a photoshoot. pm me or email if you have one i can use or buy

is it the same for all engine types?
or is the 2200 different then a 2.4 one would be? kinda think there diff but i wanna make sure..

im not sure really. id imagine they are diffrent. but if its close i may be able to make it fit. im just trying to hide my rusty header for a photoshoot next month. if you have one bring it next week and we can look at it.

well im going to the junkyard friday.. if its less than 15-20 u want me to pick it up for u and u just pay me back at the meet sat?

I dunno if they'll include the bolts tho so that might need to be sumthing ull have to go get..


thinkin of it i used to have one on my engine so i might have the bolts in a container.. i think i know which ones they are too.. cuz i have 3 bolts that i have no clue what they were for till i thought about this//

Why don't you just go buy some header wrap? I've never used it before, but I know a lot of V8 guys do. This might be a little easier then finding the part you need. Also I'm not sure how it does when it gets hot, but I'm sure it will be ok.

not sure i could get a good wrap with header wrap being as how close the brances are together. im just wanting a cover to hide it for the photos.. trying to get it as cheap as possible as well since this motor is getting yanked in a couple months.

when did 2200's have header covers? I know the 2.4 and eco did but ive never seen it otn a 2200 unless im thinking of the wrong thing maybe?

ive thought ive seent hem on there, but im thinking as long as its something close i can probalby modify it enough to work.

i didnt know the 2200 had one. i made mine it cost me 10 bucks at a local sheet metal shop.it took them 15 minutes to make it.
