im gonna have to sleep on this one, im thinkin we may be able to work something out, u know anyone kinda cheap that could repaint that ultra silver? what kinda trade do u have in mind? ill take the trunk to, you can do the 03 trunk and wing i have, it would be cool you could have the 03 ls sport rear

Were you looking for the 00-02 LS Sport rear w/lip or the 03-05 LS Sport rear w/lip? I think the '03+ rear would look really good.....I guess the only thing I'm kinda iffy about with that one is how it has "CHEVROLET" etched into it.

The bumper is fiberglass it fits great because of the rear brace that is under it..

I just realized the 00-02 and the 03-05 have different rear LS sport bumpers... Does anybody have a picture of the two years?

I know I need the 2 filler peices regardless right?

02, believe the filler peices are connected to the bumpers unless the bumper came stock off some yellow LS Sports


03, filler peices are molded into the bumper. and the rear lip is not removable..also "Chevrolet" is branded into the bumper above license plate..

Hmm, I know I need the bumper that sits lowest to the ground.. I don't want my front and sides to hang lower than my rear bumper.. I may have to reconsider this because both stock bumpers Manta posted doesnt low at all

I'm not sure about which one is lower, but if I had to guess, I would say the '03-05 is lower. I'm almost positive that the '03-05 is wider because I remember not being able to really see the rear tires from the back of the car on the '03-05, but the tires kinda stick out on the '00-02's.

My '02 rear had the filler panels attached to it.

Yeah im kinda leaning towards the 03-05's because the lip is attached.. I like the look of fhat..

honestly.. hieght is the same.. if u notice the 03 lip starts higher up on the bumper so the lip looks bigger making it seem like it lower but its not. on the 02 the lip started under the bumper so thats where the 03 makes the up the hieght of the lip cuz it doesnt go down under the bumper. personally i like the 03 better also..looks cleaner to me.. the 03 "Lip" will also match up with the front IF lip and sides in the hieght.. a the 02 the lip is smaller so it would look a lil more outta place.. not to mention the 03 is more smooth so it seems like it was made with the IF front and rear.. btw get it i wanna see how good it actually looked cuz that was going to be my kit idea before the headlight swap.. IF front and sides then 03 LS rear..

the filler piece on each side of the trunk is all one piece on the 03 as is the lip on the bottom, thats really the biggest difference, give me a call anytime you are free and we can meet up some place if you wanna look at the difference, mine will look like what yours will because i have the 97 trunk with the 03 ls sport rear
