Hey. If your in Michigan, come get together with the Southeast Ecotec Enthusiasts at Kensington park for our BBQ on 06/08/06.
There will be swimming, BBQ, and general chit chat among us cool car kids. There is a $4 entry to get into Kensington, and make sure to bring your own meat to grill. I'll be more than happy to cook it myself, but i wont be supplying everything. Beer and wine are allowed, but no glass containers, and alcohol isn't allowed on the beaches. We're planning on meeting at 2pm, at the picnic area labled K on the map below. Easiest way to get to the park is to get off at Kensington Rd. Exit 151. If you're coming from the west (from Lansing), continue straight off the exit directly into the entrance of the park, if you're coming from the east (from Detroit) turn right off the exit, and bear right just before the stop sign. Hope to see everyone there!

Yeah a mid week meeting at 2 in the afternoon makes sense to me.......
Yep, on thursday the 8th at 2.
Tim,
you want to plan a BBQ to get people out and get interested in your group, yet plan it in the middle of the week, when the bulk of the population is working? I have surfed your forum, and it is intersting, but for me getting to a midweek meeting is impossible, let alone one IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY.
Would love to become involved as I have a blown eco powered Cavalier, but not going to happen until you examine your meeting times and locations and make a consideration for people who work normal schedules.
I hope it does well, and you avoid the rain, unlike so many BBQ's lately.

ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
I may take a drive out there.
Alright, heres what happened. Originally, this was just going to be one of our standard get togethers, like we usually have at Damons around 7pm. We decided to switch it to a BBQ. Anyways, We do have another BBQ scheduled for the 17th of June, time TBA, but probably around the same time. Location is also TBA
