me and a couple of friends have set up a game on may 29th (memorial day) to do some paint-balling. this is for people that want to play but are on a budget. we really don't want high powered guns cus there will be kids involved. it is just for fun and who wants to play and have a good time. you will need to bring your own ammo, co2, gun, and protection. we will only be playing with no more than 300 psi cus of the kids, but it will be fun. no cost to play cus it will be a private farm. if you want to play we have a yahoo group set up so u can register. it is called
lafayette paintball hope to see some fellow j-body enthusiasts out there

your an idiot.

for two reasons. one, for risking the saftey of your friends to try and be "cool" and secondly for the fact that over 300fps paintballs warp during flight and have allot less accuracy.

ive played in allot of tournaments and had blood drawn plenty of times playing at under 300fps.

well, i guess i am an idiot but , of course we will not be playing with that much fps, with the kids, man u cant see anything that isnt pointed out for u can u. and how are u to tell anyone that u should be playing at that kind of speed. it was just a post to see who want to play for fun, but no some jack ass has to come on here and bash on something that is not even the subject of the post. huh, i guess that would make you and idiot and a jackass.

actually i saw what you posted and new you wouldnt. but the way your statement was made it sounded like you played at over 300 fps on a regular basis and u were just turning it down because there were kids. my statement " should be playing under 300 at all times. wether there are kids there or not." was not a bash on you, it was just a statement about playing SAFE wether there are kids there or not . then you come back saying your a real man because you play that way. ive been playing paintball on and off for over 15 years in woods ball and tournament ball and ive seen the damage that can be done with using unsafe guns and unsafe speeds. and how can i tell someone to do it? its a public forum bud and i added in a statement about playing safe. choose to use it or not i could care less.

yes i do play at about 320 on fast fields and i have yet to be hurt or anyone that plays with me. and by the way i dont know what balls your playing with that warp on you, but i have never had a ball cut , break or warp on me yet. but thanks for the advice though.

i used to be sponsored by pro ball back when we competed heavily, and they did extensive testing on their paint, along with most of the other major paintball companies and they found around 285 to be the best velocity to go with. higher then that and the paintballs would start to spred out from the target consistantly losing about 10% of their accuracy.

as far as not hurting anyone or being hurt, that could be just a matter or time, there is a reason every paintball facility in the us has a set speed of under 300 fps.

yea, we try to play at least 3 times a month and some of us play more, but yea we would enjoy more people playing. if you want u can play tomarrow. but u will need you own co2, ammo, and protetections, i have an extra gun but, it is not the greatest gun. so email me if u want directions.
