Ok I took my stock rear bumper off and under my tail lights there is a piece I need to cover the gap between my tail light and new bumper. Do I cut this piece off or can you buy new ones. If it helps I have a 2002 ls sport
i think youre talkin about the tail fillers
so on those, you can either get some from a junkyard (95-99 years) or hack em off your 02 bumper

Get the 95-99 pieces, they're seperate, and support the bumper much better than if you hacked yours.
I happened to have a set of silver ones laying around so I snapped a pic, at the bottom you can the bracket where legs of sort come out to support the rear better-
