I agree, those refs were not experienced enough to keep up with those teams, but oh well. Life will go on. I thought that final rugby session was amazing though.

I hate Michigan because Im the biggest OSU Fan
BUT, I wanted them to win lastnight because their Big Ten.. I think Mich could of , and should of won that game.. It was crappy reffing(they weren't used to that much speed) Also Michigans run defense have been suspect all year(ie OSU and Nebraska) They never should of let that tiny RB from Nebraska run for 167 yards.. That was the biggest difference I think.

BOOOOO Nebraska and BOOOOO the refs. Michigan outplayed them hands down. They had more 1st downs, more total yards, more passing yards, near even in rushing yards, less penalties, better 3rd down conversion percentage, better 4th down conversion percentage and more time of possesion. Yes Nebraska played a good game, and yes Cory Ross tore it up, but they got plenty of help from the refs as well... the fact that lloyd carr has to use up 2 timeouts just to give extra time to see if a TD and a potential turnover should EVEN be reviewd is simply rediculous. Yes they got the INT in the endzone correct for NEB but completley flopped on the henne fumble in which his hand was clearly moving in a foward motion. Not to mention the 2 identical punt return interferance calls agains breaston where one was called a penalty and one was not, i mean cmon get them both right or both wrong. And im not even gonna get started on the last play where the whole NEB team was out on the field, flag at least. Its terrible that two good teams have to suffer either way from very poor officiating in a national bowl game which is by far the most important game of the year. Anyways im done bitchin for the year, Michigan had a dissapointing season to say the least and i just look foward to going the games next year. And ill leave you with a comment by mike torico and kirk herbstreits that i thought was funny.

He sure did, and thats what I think won the game for NU, because once they got balanced they got into rythm and were doing well...Refs sucked but i dont really care because NU has been screwed soo much by refs over the years
Yes, it was horibbly officiated, yes he should have lateralled the ball instead of being tackled out of bounds... But come on, they should never have been in that situation. They were in control and let it slip away. Too many big plays when it counted. Yes, their defense has been suspect all year. That why we lost all those close games. I'm happy the season is finally over. Hopefully they do better next year. Though we will be missing some key players due to graduation.
