First off I'm only 19 so I have a reason to be excited (not ment to sound like an ass).
Anyway, I was told that my local staples is looking for an assistant manager so I went into Staples today with my cover letter and resume in hand. Filled out an application on the puter for managment and then went and talked to the store manager (nice guy). I explained to him that I have 3 years experience in retail and 1 1/2 years of supervision/leadership skills and what not. I gave him the C.L and resume and then told him that I would appricate it if he would look it over with my application that I just put in the system and let me know what he thinks. He skimed both papers smiled and then looked at me and said; "Well, let me look this over with your application and I'll get a time and day set up for you to come in and we can sit down and talk.
I'm sorry but I'm so freaking geeked about this and I have a really good feeling about it. This is about the best damn resume and CL I have ever done (the CL took me 1 hour, and the resume took 1 hour 45 minutes!) Sorry for the long post but I can't help that I'm excited!
Thanks for listening!

"All my life I have been trying to figure out who is behind this face of mine"
I got it. I just had my interview with the district manager on Tuesday. I start monday and close since I go to school in the morning. They said that they will start me out at 41k per year + full benifits, and a montly bonus based on how much revenue the store pulls in. The nice thing about it all is that the store is averagley budgeted for about $90,000 per month and I get 3% of that!!!!
