where is a good place to get the whole car repainted? i'm in the dayton, cincy area and i've had the car repainted twice now. The first time was by the place who put my first kit on....i just paid for them to put the kit on, and since it took them longer than normal, they repainted the whole thing, which really messed it up bc they didn't do the best job taping off and then when i took the drift sideskirts off, the quarter panels weren't painted where the skirts were. Then i got in contact with full throttle motorsports and one of the guys from that car club recommended me to a member of full throttle, so i payed him, and it has orange peel, and runs (which wetsanding didn't take care of). the only good thing is i didn't pay out the ass for it, so i guess i get what i pay for...but it really bugs me that i try to keep my car clean and i have runs coming from the mirrors on both sides, and there is a run on the trunk lid....so i want to just get it repainted and have it look nice and be done with it. Anyone know where i can get that? is it somewhere u've been? do they have a good name and rep? and how much. i just want the stock indigo metallic blue. thanks.

As far as the orange peel goes... it's normal. You have orange peel on your factory paint job... and it's darn near impossible to paint a car, and get NO orange peel whatsoever. The only way to get rid of orange peel is to wet sand it out so it's smooth like glass... and buff it out. Go look at a dealership new car lot... EVERY car there will have orange peel.

The runs however... should have been able to be wet sanded and buffed out...

And yes, I'm a chick, and yes I am an auto body tech and painter... and have been doing this for years... (In SC PA)
