Are there any decent apartments in this area? I am looking at going to UNO in october and was up there today and everything listed in the paper it seemed was in a crappy section of town (ie Jameson Street, i think)? Im waiting on a few calls from rela estate agents, but i know noone up there and don't know the area very well.

I live there, theres some decent apartments around just stay away from the northend of the town. Theres some decent ones out by the lima auto mall.
I live in Dayton and I drive up near Van Wert to visit a friend atleast once a month.
i live in saint marys about max 30 mins from lima i live in an apartment and getting ready to buy a house
