well since june isoff the map now, radar cant even find it...how bout a mid or late July meet at Bears Den... hows the weekend of the 23rd sound? that should give errbody enough notice.

Wow, this is from last May for people to get to the June 04 meet. I thought about just posting on the thread and bringing it to the top to confuse you all!

From the Akron area:
Drive Interstate 76 East towards Youngstown
Merge with Interstate 80 East Still towards Youngstown
Merge again with Interstate 680 towards Youngstown
Take Exit #2 MERIDIAN ROAD
Turn Right onto MERIDIAN ROAD
Drive on Meridian Rd. Past 5 (five) Traffic signals (one may be blinking but still counts)
After the 5th Signal Keep an eye out for BEARS DEN ROAD on the Left
If you pass a 6th Traffic Signal you've gone too far. Bears Den Rd is the street just before this 6th Light.
Making that left onto Bears Den Rd keep going until you come to your first Left hand turn
Take that left, through the intersection, past the Fire Station
On your right just ahead is a Brown Park Sing, Turn RIGHT into Millcreek Park
Just past some parking spaces on the Right is The BEARS DEN CABIN sign
Turn Right at that sign and by following that road you will find a few different areas to choose from to Park...Your choice!
Now From the Turnpike it's the same you just dont have to use I-76 at all, just follow from step 2 from above and you're there.
Also if you back-track to where you originally entered the park and make that left instead of a right....there are Batting cages, Short Hole Golf, Volleyball, and Baseball/Softball fields.

i dont know. everyone said they were going but apparently just about everyone backed out. most of the ohio people who went were the west/central ohio people like from AKrowdy, columbus, and Dayton.
i was gonna go until i realized i couldnt get off work and school to go....plus im kinda broke.
