I live in northern VA, one of the most densely-populated areas in the country, and I am having NO luck with this.
I have called at least 10 junkyards trying to find a late-model Cavalier and they act like I am asking for the rarest car ever built. You would think someone had smashed one up in the last 2-3 years.
Any advice? Are certain times of the year better than others for "scavenging"?
Anyone know a place in the DC / VA / MD area with some J's?

Ben, got an extra driver side mirror cover layin' around?? Ya know the piece that looks like a triangle. Non powered, I have one for the power mirror, but I took them off in favor for some others and Jacob's gonna smooth it out and paint it w/the rest of the interior. He's looked everywhere around here and can't find one either. To get back on topic, everyone must have took their tax return to the junkyard and bought all the junkers.?
Steve, did you try all the junkyards on Rt. 1 from Woodbridge to Dumfries? They usually have alot of stuff. Bad attitudes sometimes though. Most of the time they have cars they forgot about. Just go in and check. Good luck, too. Hope you find what you need.
