well, for starters, my g/f and I were heading home from the Odeonin Cleveland last night and I was diving her grand am GT when I got pulled over caught doing 89 in a 65 zone(in Portage county). Now, one of my good friends told me a sweet rumor the seeing as the t.p. is a private toll road, the usual highway & interstate points system doesn't apply. Is this true??????
I'd like to know if anyone can help me out.
Also, I know this might be a gay question, BUT, I was driving her car, so does that mean I'm just going to be penalized when it comes insurance time, or will she as well.
I'm thinking it just affects the driver.
My last offense was a speeding ticket around last spring/early-early summer when I was caught doing around 55 (or less but no less then 50) in a 35 zone on wonderful route 224 in Boardman ohio, youngstown's finest I should say (lol).
I should be okay, right???
I tried searching for info on the ohio taffic violations site, but they only offer info for highway violations being 55mph and over

i dont know about the speeding on the private road but if you get a ticket you get penalized not your girl it goes on your insurance not hers

I think that you'll end up with points. The 'pike may be private, but it's patrolled by the highway patrol, not a private service.
