You might want to check the areas around Columbia as I believe its way to overpriced.

just an fyi- columbia is still considered to be in the dc/metro area. that means its going to be outrageous no matter where you go. look on a map and see what around columbia, then look around those places.

Don't room in Columbia, it is way too expensive. Room in Laurel and commute the 10 minutes to Columbia. Laurel is dull and boring.... but cheap. That is where I live too. You can ask most of the local people around this area, my garage is the place to be as long as my dad isn't upset

Oh and as for Columbia, good luck trying to get a place there. It really is expensive, but Josh's idea of moving to Laurel is a good idea.
I agree columbia is too expense. Just looking for a place to stay and pay rent to around that area.
