ok its time to start organizing this thing. so......whats good for all of you guys?
I want it to be in charleston again this year. we havent had it there since spring 03 and since charleston is the largest city in WV, its due.
the biggest question is WHEN? april or may is the time frame we have to work with. but april is too early IMO. but may is the start of the show season. personally i vote for the first or second week of may. but let me know what you guys think.
also.....how does another BBQ sound?

Chad Dont listen to him. First of all he doesnt Know you like the rest of us do Plus if he did know you he would realize that you had one of the baddest cavaliers that ever has been on this Org. shady: i have always been a very easy person to get along with. im nice and i dont usually go on rants. but you need to chill the @!#$ out. chad IS more than welcome to come. and chad's opinion IS wanted just as much as yours and everyone else's. these meets arent just about the cars. they are about the people too. when we are older and the "scene" no longer exists, some of us will be able to look back and see that we met some really cool people, had a really good time, and made some life long friends. THAT is what these meets are about. we can show pictures of our cars over the internet....we dont need to drive hundreds of miles and spend a full day to do that. we have these meets so we can MEET.
thats it. period. end of story. there isnt anything else to it. you are more than welcome to attend. but if you come to a meet with that attitude, dont expect a happy reception.
now....getting this back on track.....shady, you didnt make a suggestion on WHEN to have the meet. if you want to be heard, please say WHEN you would like to have it.

ShAdY Z, you don't control who comes and who doesn't come to these meets. Basically, we're friends that get together to talk about our cars. And no, Chad doesn't have his cav anymore. But that doesn't mean that he's not our friend anymore NOR does it mean that he just forgot everything that he knows about a j-body. He had one of the baddest cavaliers around and he'll ALWAYS be welcome to these meets, as would Laverty or Oxley or anyone like that for the matter.
So....if you keep that attitude, you won't be welcomed (at least not by me and several others there).
And Chad, you'd better not let anyone run you off from these meets! If you're not there, I'll hunt you down and DRAG you there!!!

I vote for 1st or 2nd weekend in May like Franklin and Ryan do...April is kinda booked for me.
I'm not doing anything major to it just a few little things, such as the seats in the back like i was telling u and a new sounds system 4 tens and a couple other little goodies but it prob. won't be done until after i get married. In august that's kinda why i'm thinking i might not make it to the bash this year . I want to, but it all matters out in expesives.. The 1st or 2nd week of may is fine with me as well i have no car shows to attend to that i know of..

matt: me and franklin are going to the bash and are splitting a room. my idea is the more people in the room, the better and cheaper itll be. if you want to room with us, it would be about 30/each per night. if we get one or two other people, then it would be even less. gas is estimated at about $40, and then food, etc. we could get you to the bash for under $200 im sure. but its up to you....im sure marraige is more important.......or is it

I know a lot of people go to this show and a lot of people Loathe this show but Cruisefest Nationals is the first weekend of May. I have never missed Cruisefest for 7 years and I don't think that I am going to miss this one.
I am all for the 2nd week of May
The only major car show that weekend is I think the one down in Mississippi

i was planning a trip home to see my folks this spring, can someone keep me in the loop, on this? i won't have my car as I will be flying in, but I'm always up for meeting up with more people from the org. if it's going to be in Charleston where were you guys thinking about? I don't really remember the parks up that way to well. anyway nice to see that there is a j-Body presence in WV.
