I used to be a pretty active member of JBO back in college, when I built my '04 Sunfire. It was my first new car and I definitely enjoyed customizing it to my liking and taking it all over to shows and cruise nights. To make a long story short, I was forced to give it up over 5 years ago due to some unfortunate circumstances.
Found my old registration card today while cleaning out a drawer and decided to run the VIN# just to see what my old car is up to these days-- and was surprised to find it was sold through a New York Copart salvage auction in April 2010. Below is a link to the online listing:

Looks like someone from Michigan rebuilt it and it was registered there in June 2011. I know it's a long shot, but just wondering if anyone has seen or knows of this particular 'Fire. While I love my Audi TT, my Sunfire was definitely the car I was most attached to!

Yes, I remember that too Micah... thanks for the kind words. Would love to see if it's been fixed back up or not, and will always be a buyer for it if I were lucky enough to find it!
I still have the original paperwork and window sticker... not to mention the speeding ticket I got driving it home from the dealership!
