I had some idiot weld up my roll cage and nothing is done right. I was wondering if anyone in northern ohio could help me out. I am not a good welder but I do have a 180 mig. I dont kno if I can cut out some sections and still use some or not but windshield bars and side bars are definately screwed up and idk if any other parts are in spec.
should have had a shop do it, cages have to be certified and all that @!#$.. rdp in painsville man

oh trust me i've put another 10 into it. Been waiting for a portfueler since august due to hahns move. Just had all bolts oversized so it worked out w/ the odd setup in that block. Just got rd fabs mani. so basically just gota get cage and fuel cell and it should b good. o ya and i need sum good axles yet. I made a whole new control arm setup to really improve traction. we shall see how it goes. if I don't get mid tens im drivin it off a cliff lol

i know thats what camron spent with just karo in one shot. and he is at 10.7's.
do you see this car going faster than 11.49? if so is the cage a chromoly or steel? in his case if he is going faster, better off doing chromoly and losing as much weight as humanly possible.
im a lil further in it than him just gota setup the feul system alil better.
im tryin to not be as open about it that y i don't post 2 often on here until is done but i'm starting to run into problems bc im not a good welder. i have a garrett t4 58 trim turbo on 30psi and working on setting up the zex syystem to make up for some lag. thats as much info as i really wanna giv euntil its completely working. But like i said im having problems w fuel and welding at this point. i had it in the mid 11s on 20 psi. but i was using a fake ba map setup and now im tryin to use hahns portfueler which I know nothing about. So hopefully that wont be too hard. I just hope it comes in sometime soon. Ill post it up when its done tho :-)
i was just looking at boosted ecos setup and i don't think i have much more than he does. Other than oversized bolts and bearings. rdfabs turbo mani. and hopefully the traction bars i fabbed up will make the diff. they did for a honda but cavs are alot diff. now i fel like all of that work and money wasn't as original as I thought :-( might as well finish it though.
I found some local help w the cage. Thanks for looking tho. hopefully i'll be ready for spring :-)

agreed. full specs on turbo?
to be honest I don't know that much about that turbo. When I bought it I ordered a tc/t4 and they accidentally sent me the one I have and i kept it and ran it. It doesn't spoole up until 3800. I can tell you that much. I will have to look when I get home. My old setup was just kinda luck I guess.
t04e10 59 exhaust 50 intake? if this isn't big enough can someone point me in the right direction and i'll just have to hope i have enough money by spring for it :-( i'm starting to thing im never gonna get car done. it has sat for two years now.
