Ok before anyone asks....NO IM NOT SWITCHING TO THE DARKSIDE.... a very interesting deal has come my way and i had to jump on it...i was almost gifted a 03 bas model arrival blue cavalier with a blown motor...timing jumped on it and well you kno the rest of the story....
So i am in need of a EcoTec engine....No transmission, No wire harnesses...just the motor... as it will be a direct swap...if you have one or kno of someone that does thats wanting to get rid of it i am willing to spend a couple hundred dollars to help them help me!!

Jump timing huh, y not just get another head and put it on there. Unless theres a gauge or valve stuck in the piston, which if its stock is very unlikely.

ive got 2 sleeved blocks, 2 built heads, 2 sets of wisecos and eagles rods... ive got all kinds of stuff to make it fast. but stock, not so much

Sorry to threadjack / relate : I need the cap that goes on the side of the eco for the oil feed. (Its the one thats right under the rear mount for the fuel lines) If anyone has one of these please PM me so I can throw a few bucks your way. I lost mine somehow when I turbo'd my car. Im guessing a few people have blown motors laying around they could pull one off of and throw in an padded envelope.

NM I got one on the way. BTW I think Troll from Cincy has a 2.2 eco he has been trying to sell fore a while if you want to look him up. He posted in the JBOK thread.
