Im debating getting rid of my 02 as I dont really need it, dont drive it much, dont really like looking at it anymore, and wouldnt mind a little income to pay off some bills with.
the car started as a 02 LSS Z24. I purchased it used in 02 and it became my "project". It has managed to piss me off to no end for most of the 6 years I have owned it, but thats mainly my fault. I still need to collect some more parts to return it to as stock as possible.
Currently sits as:
2.4L with unknown mileage (at least 200K)
97 head
LO exhaust cam (.370" lift)
Stans header
cobbled together exhaust (was a very temp fix that I just never replaced)
HO intake modified to work on a 2.4
A/C delete
poly mounts
SPEC 3 clutch
F23 with approx 30K on it
GMPP S/C reflash
36# injectors (I need to correct the program still)
Venom fuel rail
burns some oil
Suspension is of unknown "trim level"
front sway bar is not installed (I have it but had to use the brackets and end links for my 98)
Front bumper cover is in sad shape (looks good from afar but its not)
no fog lights (pockets were cut out for IC piping on a previous build)
rear bumper cover is Arival Blue
body is in the shape expected of a 8 year old car in Detroit area
just under 100k on the car itself
most of the interior is from my 00 Z24 (graphite)
dash is the crappy tan color from the 02
headliner was covered in felt last year (previous owner was a pot head and there were stains and burns all over the liner)
child seat hold downs are missing (I may have them somewhere)
still need to relocate and install my rear seat belts
trunk carpet needs reinstalled
windshield is cracked
has two 4" lights mounted on a bar up front right now
windshield washer system in missing due to being converted for use with alcohol
air bags did not work when i purchased the vehicle
PCM currently resides where the passenger air bag should be
sunroof and windows work
hood is black and has some slight damage in the front left corner
What I intend to do before even selling it:
Install a complete factory exhaust
install factory intake system
possibly find a washer tank and pump
remove my Calais wheels and put some steelies on instead
reinstall rear seat belts
if I can find them, reinstall child seat brackets
reinstall factory fuel rail and 310cc injectors (I have a set somewhere)
remove light bar
remove gauges currently installed and all associated wiring
I may have missed something
Basically return it to as close to stock as feasibly possible. I would be looking to sell for $1500 if there is any interest. Damn I suck at making these kinds of posts.
