I am putting my Camaro up for sale. The car in pretty good shape, there are a few exterior issues, but the body is not bad. The car is in excellent running condition. The car has 173k miles, but the motor has about 50k since a rebuild and a has recent tune up about 20k ago.
If I were to trade it would be for a 00+ Cav or Z24 possibly for a Eco-swap, or something similar, I have the title in hand.

I bought this car a few months ago, before I bought it I took it to get looked at a the shop I have all my work done here in town. They said everything was in great shape and only needed a tie rod end, which I replaced , so I sprung for it as I needed a Daily Driver for school. I have always had imports and compact cars before this, and so I really liked the extra space, but I am wanting to sell to go back to a car I can start modding again. I had more fun in the import scene, as this is more of a great daily driver.
It gets decent gas mileage, everything works in the car, it does not make weird noises or weird computer issues or anything like that. I have driven the car to Indy several times since Ive had it and it hasn't had many issues. The car has New Tires, New Windshield, New Tune-up, New dual Exhaust, Engine was rebuilt 50k miles ago, new tie rod end on drivers side, Clear Title, Shop gave it a thorough inspection upon purchase, and I have fixed all the little things it needed. Also the car has a brand new mid-high end 2010 JVC CD player with Ipod hookup, and also have have a 500w Alpine amp, and new Memphis Mojo 12" Sub that I will include if I sell at 2200. If we make a different deal, I will include the old Kenwood CD player that was in it at purchase, and will leave the sub wires in case you wanted to run your own stereo setup.
The Cons :
Exterior has a hole in the front bumper, with a crack at the fender, a scrape over the gas lid, and other small random dents that a 15 year old car would have.
Interior is in good shape and has power locks, but the switch popped off, and infamous seat tear on drivers side seat.
May need an alignment, I took the car to get checked out before buying and when they went over it the only thing they suggested was a new tie rod end as it was loose, I had it replaced, but the car now pulls slightly to the left when you let go of the wheel. So it would just need alignment if that bothers you. Also, a small bit of vibration, which they said when replacing the tie rod, that there is a small bend in the lip of the rim, which would cause that. Still 100 percent safe.
EGR causes the CEL to come on when braking from 70mph ( on the interstate ), could be replaced if you would like, but it is not effecting anything other than exhaust gases.
A/C needs a new hose to go to the compressor, probably a very easy fix
On occasion the ABS light comes on when the car is started, doesn't do it often, when I checked online about it, I guess it is a fairly common issue with the cars computer.
Price is 2200 Firm or trade for something of comparable value, I have a photo in the album from KBB, The car in good condition without rebuilt motor is worth 2600, but because of the body flaws, I am selling at the reduced price. More pics available upon request. Thanks for looking.

Im have a 99 2.2 4 door if you were gonna do a eco swap. its still in progress stage has a 00-02 rear end and i have a set of 00-02 headlights and various parts for it got 97,000 but maybe talk something out.

I would be leaving it relatively stock, so I don't want to really pick up a work in progress aka primer or mismatched body panels, and I'm def. looking for a two door, pref. a Z24 since I wont be swapping til winter, and I have experience with a 2.4.
Also, I would have to trade straight up being a broke college student at the moment, in case I cant end up trading, ill wait for it to sell, and in September when my grant money comes in, I will probably buy an 03 LS Sport. I posted this as an option since I wanted to sell to get one, but I do not have any cash to add.

I appriciate the offers I have received, and thanks for the luck jason ( long time no talk.. I may take you up on coming out to TX sometime, maybe the are in need for Systems Analysts or Network Admin ? ), but I believe I am picking up a 2004 Green Cav with a blown motor and 500 bucks for the Camaro. I have access to any ECOtec parts I need, and can use the extra cash to get a few decent mods before the bash.
If it doesnt work out, I will return to the post, but thats where I am at as of now.. If it does ill finally have a new project

Probably not going to work out with the 04, they need money so don't have the extra cash, and I would need the money to get it going, so unless it changes this is still available, also took some videos and pics today for the Craigslist ad, I am mostly concerned with it having a 2.4 or Eco, prefer Auto, and no quarter panel damage, if its something I can take off and replace that is alright probably lol. Also, if I got 2000 in cash, I would take it.

Mike, haha, yeah.. the body isnt the best, but thats all that is wrong with it, it runs and drives great, its been an awesome daily for me, just wanting to get back into J's and the Engine is a pretty fresh rebuild with 50k miles or so, and I was told it has some good parts in it, def. peppy for a v6. New Tune up, New(er) tires, New Windshield, New Tire-rod end, and some other stuff, if someone had a rim to put on it and get it alligned, it would drive like new, Motor and tranny are great, and it doesnt leak any fluids or anything like that.
It isn't that I was turning down your offer, I was contemplating it and seeing what was out there, I was shooting for a 2.4 or 2.2 Eco, like I said, so that was the only hang up, it wasn't that I don't like it or anything like that, its nice I just didnt want to hang to do a motor swap if I didnt have too, and if I was gonna boost it, I have experience doing the other two. I am not in a rush to get rid of it, so I was checking out my options

I personally like the look of the '00-'02 better than any of them, Especially in stock trim
