I got my prostreet Chevy Astro running, so the Cavfire is up for sale.

I made a few changes and added a few things.
I added the carbon fiber wing, quick release NRG steering hub, chrome fire extingher, flashlight and chrome wire loom to the engine. I cleaned up the brakes and repainted black. I painted the sub box and rear carpet black. The rear bumper has been repainted. I moved the drivers side back and lowered.
$4400 or best offer

Wow, that didn't take long, lol!! Good luck with the sale!
Yea, I know. I love the car, but urge to finish to my prostreet Astro is really hitting hard.
The Cavfire gets alot of attention where ever I take it. I won first place at the Ionia car show, Tuner class. The a/c and cc are a bonus, never had either in my summer cars.
But where is no feeling like stomping down on some real horse power. The look on peoples faces when I drive by in a fat tired, loud, sleeper looking minivan is priceless.

no offense, but you just bought this from a guy whose last price was 3500 obo, meaning you should have got it for less. why would anyone want to pay 4500 for something they didnt want to pay 3500 for?
I think in all honesty it's worth the money, but you're right, nobody expressed any interest in it for me at that price. It's only worth what someone's willing to pay I guess, lol. In his defense, I had a local guy offer me $3500 for it but couldn't pay for it for about a week, so Mike came right down and paid $3500 for it, so it didn't go for any less than that. The only issue I see is that some people see the wing that was added as an improvement, but I think it may drop the value for many others, just my opinion. There's a ton of money dropped into that car, so in all reality, $4K shouldn't be out of the question. There's almost that much in paint and wheels alone. I know you never get your money back from a modded car, but this would just be a small fraction of what went into it, so good luck with the sale!
I spend another $600 on it after a got it home. Gorilla lug nuts, hub rings, chrome fire ext, NRG quick release, repainted the back bumper, cleaned up brakes and repainted and other things.
Maybe the wing did effect some opinions, but what is the big deal, its just a spoilerless black trunk lid. It is not a permanent piece of the car.
Then this car sells and I finish parting out my other Cavy, I am all done with j-bodies. It has nothing to do with J-body cars in general.
The Zfire is pretty close to the plans I had for a Cavy I was going to build, except for it was going to be a 4 door and probably not be bagged.
I put a wing on my Cavy and get comments of how I ruined the car. The only people who do not like the wing are on this website. All most everyone on this website thinks J-bodies should look like what they think. I believe make your car your own, DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. This why I am done with J-bodies and going to just Have my prostreet Astro. I have rust in spots, the interior is not done and the whole van is far from done, but I have more work into it than most on this website could ever do.
