1200 or so? 97 sunfire 2.2 air and heat are still working runs like a champ all maintenance kept up, 4-1 header, ebay fart pipe,intake, evil eye hood, 00-02 gt front bumper, lss rims fair tires..the motor has 207k but still running strong...only had the car 3 yrs and has a long list of repairs but a few of the main are recently replaced head gasket, all motor mounts, heater core, and many more...the bad..it does have a pretty significant wreck on the passenger side but iv replaced the door...the front fender and rear quarter panel are still in good condition.....other than that im still driving the car but I have a jeep im working on.. This is just a feeler......and honestly id rather another jbody fan take this car to drive, fix or parts car....
I figured id get that kind of response, but i also am not expecting someone to pay full price..i actually know my local junkyard would pay me 700 for it..but im not going that route..and i already know i can sell it in my area for 1000 easy but id have to swap it back to stock..this post was more of a shot in the dark

Yeah, my Escort was in the same condition and the best I found was 300 bones. The scrapper probably wouldn't even make 700 off of it.
Sorry dude, but these are just facts. If you have people dumb enough to pay that much for smashed jay, then I'd take the change and run like the dickins. With Sinh's search for a 2.2/2200 j-body, I've found a ton of them with the same mileage, in good running condition, and no damage for what you're asking for yours.

Im with Evan. If you can sell it for a grand ,id sell it quick.Cause these cars dont scrap for much and can be bought and sold for less than a grand all day. I've seen 04's for 1500.
I hear ya guys..and thats what I plan on doing once I get my jeep on the road. I figured id at least give it a shot here..cuz once I sell it its guna kill me to see my hood and bumper hanging around in the shop.lol
