Just putting a feeler out to see if anyone has an extra engine or if anyones parting out a j that has a good 2.4 in it. I put a junkyard motor in last year and it was out of a 96 grand am so it had a lot of miles and didn't last me too long.

Yup. Livin in pompano beach right now. thinkin about selling the cav after I fix it and fixin up my old camaro. I'm tired of all the bs with it. I've had it for a while and hate to see it go but thinkin bout sellin it while its still nice enough to make a few bucks on. And It doesn't need a new motor like I thought, I was listenin to it yesterday and its a lifter ort something in the top end.

FU Tuning
Its a knock somewhere in the top end, sounds like its above the 1st cylinder. And I had to move the car the other day and its not a constant noise, it will get louder and then quieter. Maybe the tensioner is letting the chain slack up and its slappin around?.?. I'm probly just gonna throw a junkyard motor in it cuz I can do the swap in under 5hrs and then sell it.
