What parts do you want off my car? Make offers!!!
Saturday, July 18, 2009 5:12 AM
Almost a year later after I made my original for sale post in this forum (back in August 08), I've finally gotten a new car. And It looks like I've decided to keep the cavy as a beater.

That means that I won't be needing it hooked up.....at all. So it's time to sell some parts!

*** Here are the rules. If you want something, make an offer for it (does not mean I'm going to accept it). It must be easily replaceable or shipable. I'm not willing to drive more than an hour or two to meet up with you for swap if it's not shipable or easily replaceable. If you want something, you must be able to provide me with stock stuff in return, and of course it must be in good condition.

Note: I am also willing to listen to trades + $ if you have a stock-ish 00-05 J with 5-speed (mine is automatic).

Engine:
- 2.4L Automatic, with GMPP Supercharger (this will take time to remove / reprogram bcm)
- Pulleyboyz 2.7 pulley (6-8 psi on a cold day) (stays with the supercharger)
- Pacesetter ceramic header with magnaflow cat and dynomax superturbo mufller, all 2.25" (this will be hard to remove / sell)
- 59mm RSM TB
- 100% custom intake for supercharger (battery moved and windshield fluid modified)
- Optima yellow top, both with alternate connections to alternator and electronics (this is not really for sale)
- Lower Mark Pain engine mount (who remembers that name eh!)
- Modified upper engine mount (to bring down vibes)

Interior:
- Katzkin dove grey and graphite leather, including matching armrests (armrests have tweeter cutouts)
- Custom graphite headliner
- Stock sunroof (this is not for sale lol)
- Vinyled (but needs to be reglued) cracked front windshield piece
- A-pillar boost gauge pod with VDO 0-15psi boost gauge (asking $100 + ship)

Audio:
- Kenwood Excelon X817 receiver
- Kenwood 6.5" 2 way components up front, tweeters in the armrest
- Rockford Fosgate Punch 150a2 amplifier
- Kenwood 6x9" 3 way coaxials in the rear
- Rockford Fosgate Punch 150a2 amplifier
- Rockford Fosgate HE2 12" DVC
- Rockford Fosgate Power 250a1 amplifier
- Completely custom box that is only 4" thick in the top, and basically allows full use of the trunk and seems completely hidden. It hides the 3 amps and the sub.
- Rockford Fosgate wiring and blocks
- Fatmat/Brown bread EVERYWHERE (also not for sale)

Exterior & Lighting:
- DDM Tuning 9007 slim HID kit with custom shields
- LS Sport kit
- Custom front bumper grill (looks stock / I've had many questions on this one)
- Rare APC clear corners were already sold

Alarm:
- Clifford G5 750 alarm
- Clifford remote start
- Clifford remote windows (up, down, vent)
- Remote sunroof close
- Remote headlight turn on (20 seconds, can program custom)
- Remote trunk pop
- One remote is still brand new, unused
- ALL of the alarm settings can be custom programmed via a laptop computer and the program that I have, CliffNet. You can even program custom siren tones that are included.

Suspension & brakes:
- Koni reds & Goldline springs (already sold)
- Stock front 22mm swaybar with upgraded endlinks, + aftermarket rear 22mm rear bar (already sold)
- Front A-arm poly bushings (will include the whole arm with front swap sale)
- NW front brake swap, including N-body knuckles, N-body hubs, N-body outer CV's, N-body ball joints, 12 x 1.25" front rotors with 2.5" piston calipers, and Hawk HPS pads
- Daytona turbo rear brake swap (one of two currently in the world on 3rd gens, and I made and installed the other set), including 11.25" x 0.875" rear vented rotors with larger-than-neon calipers.
- Stainless steel brake lines (included with brake swap sale)
- Aftermarket 16" wheels SPECIFICALLY bought to fit the brakes, AND they can be rotated (dual pattern wheels, with centercaps)
- 15" spare that fits in the wheel well in case you get a flat, this specifically fits the rear brakes (you'd have to rotate, which you never should drive a spare on the front of a FWD anyway). This was SUPER hard to find (will only be included with rear brake swap sale).
- Hankook Ventus HRII H405 205/55/16 tires (maybe 50% left, only selling with brake swap if interested)

Other extras I have lying around the house:

- Brand new Cardone N-body axle for NWF swap - $25
- Full HID projector retrofit set using OEM components - $250 (free ship USA)
- Cyber Acoustics speakers + sub, would be great for a room or garage - $20
- Ikea Franklin (set of 2) stools, 29", silver with oak wood - $20

I may have other things soon to also post. If interested, shoot a reply.

More info / pics of the hid kit? Was the retrofit at the bottom of the list used with the kit?

Umm...the front windshield piece is some vinyl glued over the original cracked dash. Not sure what you really want from this?

The exhaust is one entire welded piece from the pacesetter ball joint back (ball joint mating end, magnaflow cat, resonator, piping, muffler, tip). No way to remove it unless you cut it or remove the rear suspension / axle. Your stock exhaust system will also not bolt up to my pacesetter header.

The HID kit currently on the car is a DDM branded slim HID kit - 9007 style. No high beams. It is NOT the OEM retrofit set listed at the bottom of the list (hence why I put them up separately).

The HID's are not being used with projectors - they go into the original 9007 housing.......

I was going to do a full D2S projector retrofit in the housing, but never got around to it. That's why the second OEM retrofit kit is for sale.

Here are pix of the shield that's glued inside the headlight. As you can see, glare is reduced dramatically. I did testing of this over 5 years ago, trying to find what places of the original reflector create the most glare for oncoming drivers, and this is the area that had the most. So I fabbed up a custom shield and glued it.

And yes, that is the kit's link, 35w, 4500K temp. Low beam only (not bi). It's best to swap the complete headlights if you want the shield..........

Sorry guys for the confusion. This is the retrofit kit:

- (2) BMW 5 series projectors WITH bulb holder clips (made by Hella, 70mm O.D. glass)
- (2) BMW 5 series angel eyes / halos (110mm I.D.) - lighting elements not included
- (2) Lexus IS300 slim ballasts WITH wiring harnesses (made by Toyota/Denso)
- (2) Philips 85122 D2S bulbs
- (1) Relay with wiring harness
- (1) Fuse holder with 30 amp fuse

You really can't get any better than OEM components. Of course, they're not cheap either. All of these were pieced individually by me btw and also were tested.

For clarification: the 9007 kit is an aftermarket plug and play kit that goes into the stock wiring and housings. The more expensive full retrofit kit is NOT plug and play - this would be a completely custom job for you to do with your headlight housings and wiring.

I realize that I failed at making my original post. The original post was to highlight all the features of the car in case anyone was curious; it did not mean that everything listed was for sale. Sorry for not making it clear.

Stuff that is not for sale:

Exhaust
Battery
Windshield piece
Sunroof
Fatmat
LS Sport kit (unless you really want to swap black bumpers)
Grill (it's part of the bumper)
Clear corners (already gone)
All alarm components
Suspension stuff (already sold)
Wheels will only go with brakes

how much for the interior ? seats and all

Black pearl - the solid 5 spoke 16's in the pix. Those split spoke 18's were sold about 5 years ago to someone with a black audi TT (and they looked pretty good too). I was running stock Z24 wheels for a while until I did the brakes - then I needed some aftermarket wheels to clear the calipers.

For the Katzkin leather seats - what I would prefer to do is swap your complete good condition seats into my car and vice versa. No cigarette burns, no water damage, no major stains, and preference for graphite interior seats, not the tan ones. For the door panels, we can either completely swap door panels (power window), or we can swap the material section only, or we can even try to swap just the vinyl fabric itself. I think I might have extra dove gray and dark graphite vinyl lying around, so we might not even need to do door panels - I'll just give you the vinyl material and you can do it on your own time. Remember my door panels also have tweeter hole cutouts on the vinyl armrest area.

The seats themselves should be an easy swap. The headliner (with sunroof cutout) is also covered in graphite headliner material if you're interested in that as well. The seats cannot be shipped - I'd prefer you drive on over here just west of Atlanta if you want to do the swap. I *could* drive over to your place, but that's gonna "cost" you more obviously.

Make offers

Oh yea! Sorry for not catching that. The HID's were used pretty much every morning Mon-Fri for about 20 mins on my way to work. They've been on the car since Oct or Nov 08. Take into account the occasional weekend night outing.

so normal use.. ok

I have a friend who was trying to sell me a similar kit that was brand new, never used for $150.. does $100 sound ok to you? and my headlights are in good shape if you're wanting to trade headlights since they have the shields

I am from NC but am willing to make the trip to atlanta its only about 6 hours if the price is right. I would like the seats and complete door panels. I dont need the headliner as i have a convetible. I have the dark gray and with red patchs in it from a 1997 z24 that is not perfect but not bad.. I also have a complete gray interior that from an ls 2 door that is in perfet shape.
