some of you know about this, but National Parts Depot puts on a GM only car show at the Silver Springs nature park ever yr here in Ocala, and I got my pre-reg papers in the mail a couple weeks ago (I havent been able to get online to post this, so go to hell) so I wanted to let everyone know about it
for those of you who dont know about it, its pretty much a classic/muscle car show, but any and all GM-made cars are encouraged to come. I've been the last 2 yrs, along with a few of you and its always been a blast. the cars you see are just beautiful. you'll see anything from antique Chevys from the 30s and 40s on up to brand new Solstice's, G8s, GTOs, etc. if you're into classic cars, this is just tits
anyway, its free to the first 500 cars that sign up. I dropped off my slip today, but I picked up a small stack to send/hand out as well, so if anyone is interested, txt me and lemme know. the show is on Saturday, October 4th and pre-reg sheets gotta be in by September 26th, so you got some time.. but I'd get it in ASAP so all the muscle guys dont eat up the free spots
I'd love to see us get a huge number of our ppl there and show some of these guys that we can hang too

Even though it's over 4 hours away, I'm still tempted to go. Couldn't hurt to send the form in and it'd be nice to meet some other J's
I would be interested in going... don't really know about showing my car though... nothin is even close to being finished or even in the process at the moment do to lack of expendable $$
I sent my form in today...hopefully it will make me get off my @s$ and actually get some stuff done to my car.

and Steven, my car last yr was purple with a primered Type J kit that was missing the skirts.. nothing is worse than that

I hate my supervisor.... I asked for the day off, but apparently he has another anniversary that weekend. Gonna see if my wife and Father-in-law want to take my car for me. Lame
