I'll explain why in a minute, but I need some stock parts. I'm obviously willing to buy, but I'll also trade out.. or if I'm lookin to swap stock for an aftermarket part (i.e. suspension, intake, etc.), trade and cash can be discussed. I'm lookin for the following parts:
* stock '00-'02 rear bumper.. doesnt matter what model
* stock suspension.. I'm willing to trade plus cash for my Tokicos and Eibachs (as long as the stock parts arent blown out)
* stock intake system/airbox.. also willing to trade plus cash for my AEM CAI
* various stock interior pieces; door panels, radio/cluster/HVAC bezel
* stock '00+ cd player
* stock taillights.. doesnt matter what yr
* stock steering wheel.. if you can install it for me, I'll sell you the aftermarket wheel and Momo hub adapter cheap (I can never get the steering wheel on or off without destroying it)
Also, I'll have a bunch of parts for sale.. some stuff I'll be keeping, unless the money's right. Now, for the explanation.....
it's become apparent to me that the only way I'll even come close to gettin the money I put into the car back, is to return it to stock form (or as close as possible) and sell the aftermarket goodies on the side. I'm wanting to sell my car in the hopes of getting something newer and a lil more family friendly.. an '05 Volkswagen Jetta GLi to be exact (1.8 turbo, 6spd manual, factory body kit and 18" BBS wheels). by the time the car is ready to be sold, it will be repainted the stock color and all the lil issues will be taken car of (I'll be replacing the doors with my Sunfire doors that have manual window cranks and the a/c will be fixed). The interior will be replaced with unpainted pieces, and the back seat will be reinstalled. Chris has already kinda gotten snippy with me about selling it, as I'm sure John will also get in on it. the fact of the matter is, I want something I'm not gonna have to do much to.. some coilovers, a 3" cat-back exhaust, boost controller, and I'm done. BUT NEVER FEAR.. the plan also involves me getting a Cavalier a lil while after that. something cheaper, like an early 3rd gen Z24 or something.. the plan there is to build one monster of a Cavalier, something that I dont have to worry about hauling passengers around with (an issue I have with the current incarnation of my car).. I want a silly-fast Cavi thats also a daily driver, but to achieve that will make it uncomfortable for anyone else riding in the car (kid, gf, mom, etc.), so I need something for my other people.
at this time, I dont know when I'll be going thru with all this. I'll need to come up with the cash to repaint the car and get the small ish taken care of first.. then find the exact Jetta I want (has to be stick, and has to be either Electric Blue or Tornado Red). at that point, I can post it and come up with a price. anyone interested can PM me and get the details of the car (miles, mpg, engine, etc.), or ask about what parts will be for sale...

i have an 01 cd player from the premium sound option, base rear (beat up, has creases and a tear) and the filter box and brand new air filter

I have stock springs. stock airbox w/ new K+N filter, stock front bumper, dont know if you need any of those. but shipping +BO works for me. just trying to get rid of them.

also, for all you 5spd ECOtec guys.. I have a PCM modified with HPTuners that I wanna replace with a stock unit.. trade + $100 (the $100 covers what I spent in credits).. and I know how to get passed the TheftLock system, so its not a problem. currently, the modification were made to the speed limiter (raised from 108 to 125) and the fans were set to come on at an earlier temp... also, this is for manual cars only. no more automatic BS...

The air box is the same for all J's. I'm speaking of the box that the filter sits in.
Evan do you have another ECU? I would just leave that ECU in the car.
